As a Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects, ensuring compliance, managing crews, and overseeing projects from start to finish. A willingness to take risks and lead by example is essential.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 5-10+ years of experience in construction project management or a related field.
  • Strong organizational capabilities to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient problem-solving abilities to address complex issues effectively.
  • Detail-oriented approach with adeptness in managing project finances.
  • Accountability in estimation and bidding processes.
  • A valid driver’s license, ability to pass a background check, and drug test are required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the real estate industry.
  • Experience with flips, ADUs, development builds and new builds.
  • Licensed contractor
  • Previous experience as a foreman or super intendent

Responsibilities

  • Maintain consistent communication with key stakeholders (listing agents, owners, clients) by providing regular progress reports on project status.
  • Collaborate with the team to create and deliver project deliverables, including project scope, required resources, and estimated budget, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
  • Effectively manage project timelines and budgets, monitoring milestones, and overseeing financing and design activities on assigned projects.
  • Accurately calculate cost estimates for all project tasks and manage project budgets efficiently.
  • Provide guidance to both internal and external team members to ensure high-quality project execution.
  • Implement and maintain organizational systems for proper maintenance of tools, vehicles, and equipment.
  • Oversee projects across their entire life cycle, attending necessary meetings and conferences as required.
  • Regularly visit assigned projects to ensure smooth progress.
  • Ensure contractor compliance and accountability.
