About The Position

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager to join their Design & Construction (D&C) team in McHenry, Mississippi. The D&C team is responsible for developing advanced factories, offices, and secure spaces that enable Anduril's mission. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders, including construction managers, architects, industrial engineers, real estate planners, and finance analysts, to deliver the built environment necessary for Anduril's cutting-edge defense technology. The Senior Construction Project Manager will play a key role in gathering user requirements, generating cost estimates, managing design teams, overseeing budgets, developing contracting strategies, and managing stakeholder relationships throughout all phases of a project, from programming to closeout and operations. This position is crucial for accelerating the delivery of critical technology from concept to production.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in construction management.
  • Experience with energetics and/or process gas pressure testing requirements and facilities.
  • Strong background in design advisory, pre-construction, and project kickoff/setup.
  • Extreme orderliness when it comes to document control.
  • Excellent project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering large-scale projects on time and within budget.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction means and methods, materials, MEP systems and building codes.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Competency in CPM scheduling methods, construction document review, and contract administration.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
  • Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with DoD 4145.26, AFMAN 91-201 or Title 27 CFR Part 555.
  • Experience with advanced manufacturing-related projects.
  • Experience with construction management software.
  • Excel proficiency: You can work quickly, you’re organized, and you build models that others can easily and intuitively pick up.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Experience with ICD-705 and TEMPEST-related policies.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and help define user requirements for construction projects.
  • Generate accurate cost estimates at all project lifecycle stages.
  • Manage relationships with consultants, regional contractors, and suppliers for cost estimates.
  • Perform early site due diligence for go/no-go decisions.
  • Assemble and lead project design teams (architects and consultants).
  • Develop and manage budgets for construction and maintenance projects.
  • Work closely with Finance/FP&A for cash flow forecasting.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior executives.
  • Develop and implement creative contracting structures.
  • Establish commercial terms that drive transparency, predictability, and fairness.
  • Structure contracts to allocate risk and protect the company’s interests.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all construction-related matters.
  • Advise in all project phases: programming, design, pre-construction, closeout, and operations.
  • Communicate project progress, challenges, and solutions to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Work cross-functionally with non-construction functions.
  • Maintain strong relationships with contractors, consultants, vendors, and authorities having jurisdiction.
  • Collaborate with external project management teams to ensure alignment.
  • Facilitate regular meetings with external project managers.
