Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects is seeking individuals who are driven to make a significant impact and transform the way the world is built. This role involves developing and delivering essential infrastructure such as factories, grids, transit systems, and public facilities, with a focus on smarter, safer, and more sustainable methods. You will collaborate with a team of experienced professionals, including project managers, engineers, technologists, and strategists, who combine practical experience with digital innovation and AI to revolutionize capital project planning, management, and execution. Accenture is committed to building the future, and this team is dedicated to exceeding industry norms. As Accenture expands, new career opportunities may arise, and depending on the role and location, applications might be processed through various Accenture legal entities, with benefits varying by country and role. The specific work for this position involves leading onsite project management services for data center construction projects. This includes developing and maintaining schedules, milestones, and deliverables to meet project objectives. You will manage and control project scope, budget, risks, and timelines, proactively addressing issues that could affect quality, cost, or delivery. Coordination with cross-functional teams, including developers, general contractors, vendors, and internal partners, is crucial for consistent execution across E2 sites. Monitoring vendor and contractor performance to ensure accountability, adherence to contracts, and compliance with project standards is also a key responsibility. You will define, manage, and enforce change management processes, ensuring all changes are documented, communicated, tracked, and implemented consistently. Facilitating meetings and stakeholder engagements, providing clear status updates, managing action items, and ensuring alignment on cost, schedule, and scope are essential. Financial oversight includes budget alignment, contingency tracking, change orders, invoice review, GMP audits, cash flow projections, and pay application validation. Support for construction activities in the field involves applying industry best practices for construction oversight, design review, and quality assurance. Project closeout activities include participating in closeout meetings, tracking issue resolution, reviewing as-built documentation, and validating final deliverables. Ongoing documentation and reporting involve delivering weekly updates, managing shared trackers, providing written design feedback, and supporting version control and lessons learned. This role is primarily onsite at client locations to facilitate delivery and foster client relationships. Some in-person time is expected for collaboration, learning, and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders, and communities. Accenture aims to be flexible in supporting specific work/life needs.
