About The Position

AECOM is seeking a Senior Construction Manager in Oakland, California. This candidate will be the project or program lead overseeing the construction management staff on infrastructure projects. They will be responsible for the successful delivery of the project or program and implementation of the project plans and specifications, as well as being the main point of contact for the client. This role involves establishing operational objectives, developing and executing company policies, and overseeing project administration during the construction cycle, including technical, financial, and client satisfaction aspects. The position is accountable for the development, coordination, and execution of planning, design, and/or construction management activities and personnel on a day-to-day basis.

Requirements

Experience as Construction Manager or Resident Engineer on public works projects with construction value $100M+.
Experience managing multiple contracts
Experience working with VTA, BART, TJPA, CHSR, Caltrain and other Northern California Agencies
Excellent Communication Skills
Experience overseeing a project staff.
Strong understanding of railroad standards and specifications
Ability to obtain railroad specific required safety training
Experience writing and negotiating change orders
Experience with dispute resolution and claims
BA/BS + 10 Years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 2 years of leadership.
Valid driver’s license required, MVR check required.
California PE License.
