About The Position
APSI is in search of an experienced Senior Construction Manager to serve as a Client representative for a large site development project. The project involves the construction of manufacturing buildings, warehouses, and support buildings on a large campus. The exact location is confidential but will be within West Virginia.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture
- 20 years of construction related experience

Responsibilities
- Observe and review progress of work activities with the planned schedule for completion.
- Identify areas of progress, delays, obstacles and challenges.
- Provide written reports of findings.
- Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact for the Client.
- Provide strategic guidance with project goals and objectives for alignment with the Owner’s critical needs.
- Engage in project meetings as necessary.
- Assess risk allocation and management strategies for the projects.
- Evaluate the impact of project progress and make recommendations on any necessary course of action.
- Provide functional direction within areas of responsibility for construction project schedules, cost control, dispute resolution, contract administration, and quality control.
- Review and take recommended actions in resolving disputes related to construction projects.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
