Responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects, from planning to execution and closeout. This role involves managing and overseeing project plans, schedules, and budgets, coordinating with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project milestones are met. The Senior Construction Manager serves as a primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, communicating project progress, issues, and resolutions effectively. The role also includes performing document reviews of contract documents for schedule compliance and reasonability, identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Implementing quality control measures, conducting regular inspections and audits, and reviewing contractor plans and submittals are key aspects of this position. Additionally, the role involves preparing correspondence, assisting with site visits and presentations, providing guidance to team members, overseeing contract negotiations, and resolving disputes. Monitoring scheduled progress, preparing payment estimates, producing monthly project reports, and participating in the contract modification process are also required duties. The position may also involve assisting in the preparation of scopes of work for RFPs, government estimates, and reviews of contractor proposals.
