Senior Construction Manager - Data Center Construction
About The Position
CoreWeave is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to join their Construction Services and Program Management team. This role will be responsible for the successful delivery of hyperscale data center construction projects globally. The Senior Data Center Construction Project Manager will act as the on-site owner's representative, managing projects from pre-construction through close-out. Key responsibilities include overseeing general contractors, managing contracts, and ensuring projects meet design specifications, budgets, master schedules, and Ready-for-Service (RFS) dates. A significant focus will be on the coordination and commissioning of MEP and low-voltage systems. The role requires regular travel to project sites to monitor progress, verify quality, and proactively identify and mitigate risks related to schedule, cost, and delivery. The individual will drive projects to completion and provide regular updates to leadership on progress, financials, risks, and overall project status.
Requirements
- B.S. or B.A. degree in Construction, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 7 years of construction project management experience.
- A minimum of 3 years of direct experience managing data center construction projects with a strong emphasis on MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems.
- Demonstrated experience managing projects with a contract value of $100M+.
- Deep understanding of data center infrastructure, including power distribution, cooling systems, and redundancy protocols.
- Knowledge of construction components, processes, methodologies, and cost estimation.
- Experience with web-based project management software.
- A valid driver's license with no significant MVA points/violations.

- Direct experience with electrical and low-voltage equipment coordination, commissioning, or quality assurance.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the on-site owner’s representative for construction projects.
- Lead construction projects from pre-construction through close-out.
- Oversee general contractors and manage contracts.
- Ensure projects are delivered in alignment with design specifications, budgets, master schedules, and committed Ready-for-Service (RFS) dates.
- Focus on the coordination and commissioning of MEP and low-voltage systems.
- Travel regularly to project sites to validate construction progress and verify work quality.
- Proactively identify and address schedule, cost, and delivery risks.
- Drive projects toward successful completion.
- Provide leadership with regular updates on progress, financials, risks, and overall project status.
- Conduct on-site progress inspections and verify contractor work against drawings, specifications, and the master schedule.
