Senior Connectivity Engineer (Owner's Representative)

TEKsystemsAiken, SC
$60 - $80Onsite

About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior Connectivity Engineer to support large-scale data center infrastructure projects in Aiken, South Carolina. This is a highly visible opportunity for a Senior-level professional who combines strong project management expertise with a solid understanding of connectivity infrastructure, construction execution, and vendor management within mission-critical environments. This position will support a combination of new-build data center construction, retrofit projects, technical modifications (Tech Mods), and rapid deployment initiatives, with new-build experience being the highest priority. Candidates who have successfully led infrastructure projects from planning through closeout and understand the complexities of working within active, mission-critical facilities will be highly regarded. This is a management-oriented Connectivity Engineer role with approximately a 60% project/program management and 40% technical oversight focus. While project leadership, budgeting, scheduling, contractor management, and stakeholder engagement are critical components of the position, candidates must also possess enough technical depth to effectively oversee connectivity deployments, review installations, challenge vendors when necessary, and support technical decision-making throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate is comfortable operating in both worlds: driving project execution while maintaining credibility with engineers, contractors, and installation partners.
