Senior Components Engineer (Valves & Actuators)

Stoke Space•Kent, WA
•$151,305 - $327,810

About The Position

Stoke Space is building Nova, a fully and rapidly reusable launch vehicle designed for daily flight to reduce the cost of space transportation, increase availability, and improve reliability. The Valves and Actuators team designs, develops, tests, and produces in-house and purchased valves and actuators for Nova, including engine flow control valves, large propellant valves, high-pressure gas valves, throttle valve actuators, and engine gimbal TVC actuators. As a Senior Valves and Actuators Engineer, you will define, design, manufacture, test, and qualify valve designs for the vehicle stages and engines, owning the process for your designs. You will work with a small team and collaborate with multidisciplinary groups and suppliers. The role calls for focus, fast execution, self-direction, and the ability to learn on the fly.
