About The Position

The Senior Compensation & HRIS Analyst serves as a subject-matter expert supporting the design, administration, governance, and continuous improvement of compensation programs and HRIS capabilities. This role independently leads complex analyses, provides strategic insights to HR and business leaders, and ensures compensation programs are internally equitable, externally competitive, and aligned with the company’s compensation philosophy and business strategy. In addition, this role plays a senior-level role in HRIS (Workday) ownership, including advanced reporting, configuration support, data governance, audits, and system enhancements. The Senior Analyst acts as a trusted partner to HR, Payroll, Finance, and the business and contributes to enterprise-wide initiatives in a publicly traded, manufacturing-focused environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
  • 5–7 years of progressive compensation experience.
  • Experience in a publicly traded organization; manufacturing preferred.
  • Advanced Excel and HRIS experience; Workday preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a lead analyst for job evaluations, market pricing, and leveling decisions.
  • Independently conduct complex compensation analyses and modeling.
  • Lead participation in compensation surveys and data validation.
  • Provide expert guidance on base pay, incentive, and equity programs.
  • Support annual compensation cycles (merit, incentive, equity).
  • Partner with HRBPs and leaders on escalations and exceptions.
  • Contribute to compensation program design and documentation.
  • Develop compensation training materials.
  • Serve as senior functional resource for Workday Compensation.
  • Design and maintain advanced reports and dashboards.
  • Lead HRIS enhancements, testing, and release activities.
  • Ensure data integrity and audit readiness.
  • Maintain system documentation and training materials.
  • Support functional configuration changes.
  • Provide backup support to Payroll.
  • Identify process improvement and automation opportunities.
  • Ensure SOX and regulatory compliance.
