About The Position

Credo is seeking a Senior Community Engagement Specialist based out of the San Jose Office who will report into the Director, People Experience. This role partners with vendors and the business (i.e., People Team, Office Managers, Marketing Communications, ESG, Information Technology, Volunteer Employees, and Senior Leaders) to plan and execute employee events related to company initiatives, celebrations, and Credo Cares (our volunteer and community giving program) at the San Jose Office and surrounding Bay Area. The ideal candidate is organized, resourceful, service-oriented, and has a bias for action. This role requires up to 15% local travel to support events on location.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant corporate experience working autonomously in event planning, corporate social responsibility, or employee engagement.
  • Bachelor’s degree (Nonprofit Management, Hospitality Management, Business Administration or Communications preferred) from an accredited, 4-year university or equivalent work experience.
  • Valid driver's license with the ability to travel locally in the Bay Area up to15% of the time to support events on location.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to keep stakeholders aligned and close the loop.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office tools (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint).
  • Consultative approach with various internal partners across multiple disciplines. Asks the right questions to quickly understand different parts of the business.
  • Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to lead projects end-to-end, including scoping, planning, execution, and measurement of results.
  • Ability to manage multiple moving pieces while staying calm and reliable under pressure.
  • Service mindset and strong judgment, especially when supporting guests, clients, partners, senior leaders, or internal teams.
  • Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience thoughtfully integrating AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving.
  • Experience in a tech company, partnering across China, Hong Kong, Israel, Taiwan or Singapore.
  • Experience using Asana project management software.
  • Experience photographing employees at company events using a DSLR or mirrorless camera.
