Senior Community Driver
About The Position
Calyx Living is actively seeking a Part Time Driver for our assisted living community located in beautiful Wakefield, just off Capital Boulevard in North Raleigh. Primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to transporting residents to scheduled physician appointments, outings, performing light office work, assisting residents in and out of vehicle, inspecting the company vehicle before and after trips, and providing a comfortable environment for seniors as they're transported to various off-site events. A "safety first" attitude towards all residents and staff is essential.
Requirements
- Current NC Driver's license
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays
- Genuine interest in the safety and well-being of residents
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to interact with residents in a positive and helpful manner
- Excellent listening skills
- Friendly and accommodating demeanor
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience driving in a senior living setting
