About The Position

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Senior Digital Communications Specialist to coordinate and deliver integrated digital communications projects across web, social, paid, earned and other channels. This hands-on role combines project management, communication skills and sound judgment to help turn direction into clear, useful action. The position supports campaign planning and execution by maintaining project plans, coordinating contributors and approvals, preparing content and materials, tracking performance, and identifying risks or dependencies early. It does not independently set strategy, but the specialist is expected to understand objectives, audiences and desired outcomes, ask thoughtful questions, offer a point of view and recommend practical improvements. The role coordinates project plans, timelines, workstreams, meetings, reviews and approvals; supports campaign execution across communications channels; develops and quality-checks content; conducts research and tracks performance; and collaborates with communications, marketing, analytics, technology, legal, compliance and business partners. The specialist handles sensitive information appropriately in a regulated, compliance-focused organization. The role may be performed by telecommuting from anywhere within the United States, subject to UnitedHealth Group’s Telecommuter Policy.
