Senior Communications Specialist
About The Position
Centene is transforming the health of communities and is seeking a Senior Communications Specialist. This role supports the planning, development, and execution of clear, consistent, and compliant communications for the national Gold Card program. The specialist will coordinate with subject matter experts and training teams across functional areas to ensure providers and internal stakeholders receive accurate, timely, and easy-to-understand information aligned with program policies and workflows. This is a fully remote position, and candidates will be considered nationally.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience as writer/editor or technical writer required

- Experience in healthcare preferred
Responsibilities
- Develop and distribute communication materials
- Coordinate review and approval of communication materials with internal subject matter experts, training, compliance, and marketing departments
- Develop, review and revise materials while ensuring appropriateness of content and readability
- Develop, revise, monitor, and coordinate content changes
- Maintain knowledge of federal and state regulatory requirements for communications materials
- Coordinate with external vendors for translation of communications materials
- Develop, coordinate approval, and distribution of employee communications
- Perform other duties as assigned
