About The Position
EXP is hiring a Senior Commissioning Specialist/Engineer for its Sustainability Sector, providing commissioning services to clients across North America. The sector supports public- and private-sector clients working toward efficient, healthy buildings. The role includes managing client relationships, contributing to business development, and delivering commissioning services from design review through field testing, reporting, and systems documentation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of previous experience in commissioning, mechanical and/or electrical engineering design, test and balance, and/or building automation system check-out.
- Commissioning certification, or extensive installation and BAS programming experience.
Nice To Haves
- Professional Engineering (P.E.) License.
Responsibilities
- Manage existing client relationships and support the development of new clients.
- Work with Marketing on project pursuits and client presentations.
- Review owner project requirements.
- Perform design reviews.
- Develop commissioning specifications.
- Create commissioning plans, checklists, and tests.
- Perform field visits and observe commissioning tests.
- Work with contractors in the field to resolve commissioning issues observed during testing.
- Write field reports and final reports.
- Create Systems Manuals.
