About The Position
This is a great opportunity for a Senior Commercial Lines Account Manager at a well-established insurance agency with over 30 years of experience. The agency is seeking a strong professional to be a part of its continued growth and success. The role involves creating positive relationships with carriers and clients, possessing in-depth knowledge of various insurance coverages, products, and agency procedures, and the ability to effectively assess risk. Responsibilities include initial policy review, preparation of coverage breakdowns, responding to insured inquiries, preparing applications for submission, and creating proposals under the direction of the Account Executive.
Requirements
- Active Property & Casualty license
- Proficiency with AppliedEpic, Microsoft Office, Outlook, carrier websites, and other software systems as needed for the position
Nice To Haves
- 7-10+ years of experience as a Commercial Lines Account Manager at a retail brokerage
- Experience with real estate accounts is a plus!
Responsibilities
- Create positive relationships with carriers and clients
- In-depth knowledge of various insurance coverages, products, and agency procedures
- Ability to effectively assess risk
- Initial review of policies and preparation of coverage breakdowns
- Respond to all inquiries from insureds regarding coverage, policy changes, premium payments, and related matters
- Prepare the applications for submission with underwriting information provided by the producer
- Create the proposal under the direction of the Account Executive
