About The Position

Seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Lines Producer / Sales Executive to drive new business development and expand commercial insurance relationships. This role offers the opportunity to grow a commercial property and casualty book of business while leveraging existing client relationships through cross-selling and account development opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial insurance sales, a proven record of business development success, and the ability to serve as a trusted advisor to clients.

Requirements

  • Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
  • Minimum of 7 years of commercial insurance sales or producer experience.
  • Demonstrated success in developing new business and growing commercial insurance accounts.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, coverages, and risk management strategies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales and production goals.
  • Experience using agency management software and CRM platforms.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a profitable portfolio of commercial insurance clients.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and strategic relationship-building efforts.
  • Cross-sell additional insurance solutions within existing client relationships.
  • Conduct client needs assessments and recommend customized risk management and insurance solutions.
  • Negotiate coverage terms and placements with carriers and underwriting partners.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, referral sources, and industry professionals.
  • Collaborate with internal service and account management teams to ensure exceptional client experiences.
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline and achieve established production goals.
  • Stay current on industry trends, market conditions, carrier appetites, and emerging risks.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced producers as needed.
  • Utilize agency management software and CRM systems to manage client and prospect activity.
