We are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team in Austin, TX. This position is ideal for a motivated technician with a strong background in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining commercial HVAC systems. The successful candidate will work with a variety of commercial equipment while delivering exceptional service to customers throughout the Austin market.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of commercial HVAC experience
  • EPA Certification required
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
  • Experience servicing commercial HVAC equipment
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in the field

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS)
  • NATE Certification
  • VRF, chiller, or boiler experience
  • Manufacturer certifications (Daikin, Trane, Carrier, Johnson Controls, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance inspections and service
  • Service rooftop units (RTUs), split systems, air handlers, package units, and VRF systems
  • Identify equipment deficiencies and recommend corrective actions
  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical documentation
  • Complete service reports and maintain accurate records
  • Communicate professionally with customers and team members
  • Follow all company safety procedures and industry standards
  • Participate in scheduled on-call rotations as needed
