As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced HVAC technician to join our team and help us uphold our reputation for excellence. We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable Commercial HVAC Service and Maintenance Technician with a minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial environments. The ideal candidate will not only excel in diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance but also have the capability to manage and execute equipment replacements from start to finish.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of commercial HVAC experience, with a proven ability to independently perform service, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and equipment replacements without direct supervision. Experience solely in an assisting or apprentice capacity does not satisfy this requirement.
- EPA Universal Certification (Required)
- Proven ability to perform equipment replacements independently
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on commercial HVAC systems
- Diagnose and repair rooftop units, split systems, boilers, chillers, and other commercial HVAC equipment
- Execute equipment replacements, including rooftop units, condensers, furnaces, and air handlers
- Accurately assess system issues and propose effective solutions to clients
- Complete detailed service reports and maintain organized documentation
- Provide guidance and support to junior technicians when needed
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, project managers, and customers
- Maintain compliance with safety protocols and industry standards
