This role is responsible for retaining current clients by analyzing client contracts for insurance purposes, negotiating with underwriters, and managing client service work product to ensure compliance with internal standards and procedures. The Senior Commercial Account Manager will also oversee the preparation of certificates, negotiate additional coverages, and review expiring policies with the Account Management Team. They will prepare and present specifications to underwriters, negotiate for coverage and pricing, and refer unacceptable results to the Account Executive. The role involves preparing accurate proposals, placing coverage, overseeing invoicing, and assisting with account reconciliations. A key aspect of this position is developing and maintaining strong business relationships built on integrity, trust, honesty, and creativity, while conducting business with professionalism and a positive demeanor. The Senior Commercial Account Manager will communicate with the Account Management Team regarding any client or underwriter concerns and prepare various documentation as requested. Adherence to all IMA policies and procedures, including active participation in quality management and control, is expected. The role also involves completing projects upon management's request, working with other Account Team members to ensure client needs are met, and proactively assisting in the career development and mentorship of other client service staff, including training when requested. Additionally, this role will assist Account Executives and Producers with Policy Onboarding, Review, and oversee the Broker of Record Process, along with other projects as requested by management.
