Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is seeking a Senior Commercial Account Executive to manage client insurance programs, often handling larger and more complex accounts. This role involves acting as a primary point of contact for clients and the marketplace, managing vendor relationships, ensuring proper processing of requests, and maintaining positive client relationships through proactive decision-making and consultative guidance. The Senior Commercial Account Executive will manage upcoming deadlines, accounts receivables, and direct billing, and prepare renewal documents such as Insurance Proposals, Acord Insurance Binders, and Certificates of Insurance. They are also responsible for performing quality checks on insurance policies, recommending additional products or services, and acting as a team member within the Client Services team to ensure superior service. This includes delegating and managing tasks for Account Managers and outsourcing teams, providing direction, and mentoring other team members. The role requires strong technical expertise in analyzing insurance quotes, comprehending insurance contracts, communicating with carriers and clients, and staying updated on carrier plans and policy forms. Proficiency in premium analysis software, carrier online rating programs, and agency management systems is essential. The Senior Commercial Account Executive will also identify and address coverage gaps and become a subject matter expert in their area of technical capability.
