About The Position

This direct-hire Senior CNC Machinist position is with a privately held manufacturer specializing in high-performance heavy equipment and specialized industrial work tools. The role focuses on independent setups and complex, low-volume, high-variety machining of large workpieces, using large-scale CNC milling centers, lathes, and multi-axis equipment. The machinist will work on 2nd or 3rd shift in the Greater Duluth, Minnesota area, with technical autonomy and collaboration with engineering and fabrication teams to improve manufacturing processes. Pay is up to $34.00 per hour, based on setup depth, plus off-shift differentials and performance incentives. A full corporate benefits package is also offered. The company describes its environment as craftsman-focused, safety-oriented, stable, and free of micromanagement. The position requires a two-year technical diploma or associate degree in CNC machining or machine tool technology, as well as at least three years of independent setup experience on large workpieces. Candidates must be U.S. citizens or Green Card holders and live within a comfortable daily commute of Greater Duluth, Minnesota.
