About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior CNC Machinist to produce high-precision prototype and production parts in an advanced manufacturing environment. This role requires strong experience with CNC milling, CNC turning, manual machining, programming, GD&T, precision inspection, and prototype machining. The Senior Machinist will work closely with Engineering, Quality, and Production to manufacture complex parts and improve machining processes.

Requirements

6+ years of machining experience.
Strong CNC milling and turning experience.
Experience with both prototype machining and production manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of GD&T and engineering drawings.
Experience using precision measuring and inspection equipment.
Strong understanding of tooling, speeds, feeds, and material properties.
Ability to independently set up and troubleshoot complex machining jobs.

Responsibilities

Set up, program, operate, and troubleshoot CNC mills, lathes, and machining centers.
Perform manual machining using conventional mills and lathes.
Machine prototype and production parts from engineering drawings and specifications.
Create and optimize CNC programs using CAD/CAM software.
Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and GD&T.
Select tooling, workholding, speeds, feeds, and machining methods.
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools and CMM equipment.
Troubleshoot machining and quality issues.
Recommend process improvements to reduce setup time and improve efficiency.
Work with Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to solve technical problems.
Provide guidance to less experienced machinists when needed.
