About The Position

The Senior Cloud Platform and AI Engineer will design, develop, automate, and operate secure, scalable cloud and AI platforms across AWS and Azure. The role builds Python and .NET/C# REST APIs, backend services, and reusable application templates for application onboarding, platform integration, and cloud automation. It also develops reusable Terraform modules and Helm deployments for Kubernetes platforms, identity and access management, serverless services, networking, monitoring, and applications. The engineer integrates generative AI services and capabilities—including Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, embeddings, vector databases, AI agents, and Model Context Protocol services—with enterprise applications and developer workflows. The role creates and maintains CI/CD workflows; implements access controls, policy enforcement, vulnerability remediation, observability, high availability, disaster recovery, and multi-region deployments; and provides production support. Responsibilities include troubleshooting APIs, AI integrations, Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, authentication, networking, databases, and deployment pipelines. The engineer collaborates with development, cloud, security, database, and operations teams and maintains architecture documents, migration plans, runbooks, and operational procedures. The position also provides technical leadership, defines reusable engineering standards, mentors engineers, and advances self-service platform capabilities. The broader team works across software development lifecycle activities, including requirements, design, coding, testing, documentation, and production issue resolution. The Infosys Engineering unit focuses on product-centric value delivery, data-first engineering, and value-stream management. It uses AI, machine learning, and predictive analytics to improve delivery processes and accelerate time to market. Infosys is a global digital services and consulting company serving clients in more than 50 countries.
