About The Position

Cloud Service Engineers work in partnership with developers, testers, and program managers (typically early in the development process) to design, operate, grow, and improve large-scale, cloud-based services offered to IS and non-IS caregivers. Their technical skills are on par with their Development, Test, and Program Management counterparts. This role works Hybrid and is open to candidates residing in: Alaska, Washington, Montana, Oregon, California, Within 65 miles of Lubbock, Plainview or Levelland, TX, Within 65 miles of Hobbs, New Mexico. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5 years of related experience.
  • Extensive experience in configuring and managing Azure networking components, including VNets, subnets, private endpoints, ExpressRoute.
  • Senior level experience designing, engineering, operating, and administering Microsoft Azure (IaaS and PaaS) solutions, including monitoring, alerting, troubleshooting, and optimization.
  • Minimum of several years of hands-on Azure Hub-and-Spoke networking experience, including the design and operational support of complex enterprise network architectures.
  • Azure networking expertise is the primary qualification for this position and is essential for success in the role.
  • Good experience leveraging data and metrics to drive behavior, process, and priority decisions.
  • Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
  • Experience in problem solving using systematic procedures and investigating problems utilizing root cause analysis.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a Healthcare environment.
  • Creating and managing server images with Packer.
  • Experienced with configuring Desired State Configuration (DSC) using AWX.
  • Knowledge of implementing security controls such as CIS and NIST.
  • Experienced with Azure DevOps and ServiceNow.
