About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Developer to lead the development and implementation of cloud-based technology solutions. This role involves regular testing, debugging, and quality assurance reviews. The ideal candidate will act as a subject matter expert for coding languages and solutions design, and will be responsible for designing and maintaining scalable CI/CD pipelines to support rapid, reliable, and secure deployments of microservices. This position also includes creating and maintaining relevant documentation and conducting knowledge transfer activities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering roles, with a strong focus on AWS cloud infrastructure and Pipelines
• 3+ years of hands-on experience developing and supporting Java Spring Boot-based microservices in a cloud-native architecture with Istio Service Mesh for managing service-to-service communication, traffic routing, observability, and security within Kubernetes clusters
• 3+ years of experience building CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD
• Experience with automating cloud native technologies, deploying applications, and provisioning infrastructure
• Strong analytical, problem solving and root cause identification skills
• Excellent communication skills - interpersonal, written and verbal
• Excellent listening and facilitation skills
• Coaching and mentoring skills, especially influencing others to move toward a common goal or vision
