About The Position

Baylor, Scott & White Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital, a joint venture between Select Medical & Baylor, Scott & White, is seeking a Senior Clinical Liaison (RN, OT, PT, or SLP). This role involves advocating for referred patients in the pre-admission process by collaborating with clinical teams to assess patient needs. The Senior Clinical Liaison will serve as a resource for healthcare professionals by fostering relationships within medical facilities. Utilizing clinical expertise and problem-solving skills, they will coordinate care plans with physicians and families, facilitate patient transfers, and address barriers to accessing specialized post-acute care. The Senior Clinical Liaison assists the Director of Business Development in leading business development processes, meetings, and admissions, contributing to the growth and development of volume, strategies, and initiatives, as well as training and mentoring other clinical liaisons. Completes preadmission assessments as necessary.

Requirements

  • Valid State Clinical License required
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 3 years of related experience required
  • Demonstrated competency with the pre-admission process including assessments with relationship building in a rehabilitation setting required
  • Demonstrated computer proficiency
  • Must exercise sound judgement in handling professional/confidential nature of health care sales

Nice To Haves

  • Master's preferred
  • Proven track record in sales and marketing with at least one year experience in a related position preferred

Responsibilities

  • Helps the Director of Business Development lead the business development processes, meetings, and pull-through of admissions.
