About The Position

Coastal Payroll is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Senior Client Support Specialist to join our dynamic Client Support team. As a Senior Client Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring seamless payroll processing for our valued clients. This position acts as the primary liaison for a portfolio of clients, providing comprehensive support, training, and issue resolution.

Requirements

Proven knowledge and/or experience in payroll and human resources functions and complex payroll principles required.
Strong phone and web-based customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Understanding of applicable federal, state, and local wage and hour laws, as well as payroll taxes at both the federal and state levels is required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong verbal and written skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
Solid math and analytical skills to effectively support clients.
A BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

Oversee and manage a designated portfolio of Coastal largest and most complex clients, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing in accordance with daily deadlines.
Assist clients with the training and ongoing use of our web-based human capital management products, empowering them to maximize the system's capabilities.
Help clients analyze payroll reports and develop customized reporting tools to meet business needs.
Handle a high volume of incoming calls and support cases, delivering top-notch customer service with every interaction.
Work directly under company management to deepen your payroll knowledge and become an expert in the field.
