About The Position

The Senior Client Relationship Professional is the first point of contact for new clients using H&R Block’s expat services. This role supports clients throughout their journey, with particular emphasis on registration and initial setup, and is part of the Assisted Operations team serving clients remotely.

The position delivers high-touch client support by managing communications, addressing technical or service-related issues, and coordinating workflows across internal teams. It also helps simplify the expat tax process, supports client progress, and aims to create a positive experience that encourages clients to return in future years.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of related work experience.

• Associate’s degree in a related field, or equivalent through a combination of education and related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the initial point of contact and guide new clients through registration.
• Conduct phone consultations to understand clients’ concerns and goals, remove roadblocks, and set expectations for the expat service experience.
• Explain the expat tax process clearly and provide personalized support.
• Respond to active client messages within a one-day service level using empathetic, professional, and informative communication.
• Identify and escalate complex or tax-specific inquiries to appropriate internal experts.
• Review reports and client accounts to prioritize outreach based on client status and seasonal needs.
• Advocate for clients by building trust, ensuring their needs are met, and addressing concerns promptly.
• Use Salesforce and Microsoft Teams to collaborate with peers, share insights, and improve client service practices.
• Provide a positive client experience that fosters long-term loyalty.
