About The Position

Marsh McLennan Agency’s Business Insurance department is looking for a passionate and people-oriented customer service professional to develop, implement and deliver outstanding insurance and risk management customer service to our clients. As a Senior Client Manager, you will serve as the primary strategic partner with the sales team on new and existing key accounts, managing high-level relationships, driving retention, and identifying growth opportunities. Key skills include high emotional intelligence, strategic planning, and expertise in client management. Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge of risks associated with large commercial accounts emerging risks, cyber risk, regulatory and compliance risks, operational risks, etc.
  • At least 5 years of commercial industry and product line experience with a strong understanding of commercial property and casualty insurance brokerage or agency experience in marketing, consulting and risk management.
  • Client service advocate.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day client relationships and accounts by providing high level of service and responsiveness to client’s needs.
  • Provide commentary on coverage inquiries, contract review, analytics and market feedback, offer guidance on claims and risk control and coordinate administrative questions with Client Relations.
  • Coordinate and produce insurance proposals, stewardship reports, analytics/benchmarking, market commentary and other client deliverables.
  • Be prepared to assist sales executives on calls and client meetings.
  • Review and evaluate submissions and proposals prepared by Client Relations team.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to provide customers with insurance coverage analysis and recommendations for improved or additional coverage.
  • Keep accurate, up-to-date records on customers in our agency management system.
  • Work with your colleagues to find and follow-through on up-sell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Ensure that you and your designated sales and service team provide effective and efficient customer service.
  • Follow organization policies and procedures, sales and service standards and established workflows.
  • Ensure quality control through proper file documentation and maintenance.
  • Maintain confidentiality and be an all-around awesome member of our team.
