About The Position

The Senior Client, Business Consultant, serves as a strategic advisor for assigned Clubs. This role is responsible for understanding each Club’s business needs, facilitating meaningful business discussions, identifying opportunities for support, and connecting Clubs with the appropriate internal subject matter experts, solutions, services, and resources. The Business Consultant remains engaged throughout the process to help ensure clear communication, timely follow-up, and effective coordination between the Club and internal business teams. This role is accountable for guiding the relationship, maintaining visibility into key priorities, and helping move business needs toward the appropriate support and resolution.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of business consulting, client support, issue coordination, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong facilitation skills with the ability to bring the right stakeholders together and guide productive business discussions.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to provide clear updates, summarize issues, and document next steps.
  • Ability to coordinate work across internal teams, subject matter experts, support groups, and external Club stakeholders.
  • Strong follow-through skills with the ability to track action items, timelines, commitments, risks, and resolutions.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand operational, service, financial, and member-focused priorities.
  • Ability to influence without direct authority and maintain accountability across multiple stakeholders.
  • Client-focused, consultative, and committed to supporting Club needs through clear communication and consistent follow-through.
  • Professional, composed, and credible when working with Club executives, business leaders, and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborative and able to work effectively with internal subject matter experts, support teams, and cross-functional partners.
  • Strong judgment and discretion when handling sensitive business matters, escalations, or executive-level concerns.
  • Adaptable and able to remain organized while supporting multiple Club priorities, stakeholders, and follow-up items.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, marketing, communications, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Five (5) or more years of experience in business consulting, client relationship management, account management, strategic partnerships, business development, client services, or a related client-facing advisory role.

  • Experience supporting multi-stakeholder client relationships, business reviews, account planning, issue coordination, or consulting engagements preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as a primary point of contact for assigned Clubs when business needs, process concerns, service issues, or opportunities for support are identified.
  • Coordinates meetings with internal subject matter experts, business teams, and support groups that may have a role in evaluating or resolving the issue.
  • Facilitates discussions between Clubs and internal stakeholders to ensure the issue, desired outcome, responsibilities, and next steps are clearly understood.
  • Tracks action items, commitments, timelines, risks, and follow-up needs to help keep work moving toward resolution.
  • Provides updates to Club stakeholders and internal leadership regarding progress, barriers, decisions, and next steps.
  • Documents key issues, decisions, outcomes, and best practices that may support future Club engagements or process improvements.
  • Builds and maintains strong working relationships with Club executives, business leaders, internal subject matter experts, and cross-functional support teams.
