This position will provide printing/engraving services, serve as a backup receptionist, and provide other support services. Responsibilities

  • Monitors the Central Printing/Reprographics work order site/computer.
  • Fulfills electronic and walk-up printing/reprographics/scanning work orders/requests.
  • Operates a variety of reprographic equipment such as copiers, printers, plastic binding equipment, paper cutters, collators, laminators, and scanners.
  • Handles supplies, including cartons and rolls of paper with an approximate weight of up to 50 pounds.
  • Monitors inventory levels for reprographics center supplies.
  • Sources materials and provides information to appropriate staff for ordering print center supplies.
  • Operates laser engraver machine.
  • Operates a 3D printer.
  • Creates inventory tags.
  • Creates signage, recognition/awards items, other items as requested.
  • Uses electronic mail, word processing software, SharePoint, Teams, FDOT Service Center Portal, and other computer systems/databases.
  • Uses standard office equipment.
  • Processes office documentation as needed/requested.
  • Performs special assignments.
  • Assists with preparation, set up, and take down for meetings, conferences, and events.
  • Ensures meeting spaces are put back in order after use.
  • Maintains electronic and paper file systems.
  • Serves as a backup to the Front Desk Receptionist.
  • Answers telephone calls and assists callers; greets and assists visitors; controls access into the facility; issues visitor badges, directs visitors to meeting locations, maintains accurate visitor logs; and follows security procedures/processes.
  • Serves as backup for the Mail Center Clerk.
  • Serves as backup for Centralized supplies.
