Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, the Civil / Structural Estimator (Senior) will be responsible for preparing and coordinating cost estimates during the design phase.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8–10 years of estimating experience.
• Experience in infrastructure or heavy civil projects.
• Ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in hydroelectric projects is a major asset.
• Strong knowledge of estimating methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil and structural scopes.
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and design documents.
• Develop quantity take-offs and cost breakdowns.
• Collaborate with engineering and design teams
• Identify risks, opportunities, and cost drivers.
• Support value engineering and cost optimization initiatives.
• Participate in estimate reviews and validation processes.
• Maintain estimating databases and historical cost data.
• Coordinate with procurement and project controls teams.
• Assist in developing project budgets and forecasts.
