About The Position
Zachry Engineering Corporation (ZEC) in Charlotte, North Carolina, is seeking a Senior Civil/Structural Designer with expertise in drawing and model checking, QA/QC, and design verification. This role supports complex industrial and infrastructure projects. The Senior Designer will be responsible for ensuring that all 2D deliverables and 3D models, including civil, structural steel, concrete, and architectural elements, meet client requirements, company standards, and applicable codes before release. This position is critical for maintaining quality, accuracy, and constructability across multiple projects, while also supporting team coordination and mentoring. Additionally, the Senior Designer will contribute directly to the development of models and drawings as project needs arise, supporting overall design production efforts.
