About The Position

Giffels Webster has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Civil Engineer to join our Detroit Headquarters, working on several high-profile urban land development projects that are contributing to the revitalization of the City of Detroit. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to work independently on various engineering projects and assist a wide variety of client types from architects, developers, property owners and real estate professionals. You will work in a team environment led by a Project Manager/Senior Project Manager on a variety of tasks. In-person collaboration and mentoring are paramount to the success of this position. With experience and the approval of your supervisor, you could earn the ability to work a hybrid schedule, up to two days per week remotely and three days in the office. Requirements

  • A civil engineering degree from an ABET accredited university or equivalent amount of applicable experience
  • At least 5 years of professional engineering experience
  • Experience in AutoCAD software

Nice To Haves

  • PE licensure in Michigan (or seeking to obtain)
  • Experience in Civil3D
