Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on utility design and drainage engineering.
- Experience delivering transportation, municipal, or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of drainage design, stormwater management, hydrology, and hydraulics.
- Experience coordinating with utility companies and public agencies.
- Proficiency with engineering software such as Civil 3D, OpenRoads/MicroStation, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, and/or SWMM.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead utility design, utility coordination, and utility relocation efforts for infrastructure projects.
- Serve as the drainage technical lead and Subject Matter Expert (SME) on complex transportation and municipal projects.
- Prepare and review drainage studies, hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, and stormwater management designs.
- Develop and review engineering drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical reports.
- Coordinate with clients, utility owners, regulatory agencies, and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers.
- Support project delivery by ensuring quality, schedule, and budget objectives are met.
- Participate in proposals, client meetings, and business development activities as needed.
