About The Position

IMEG is hiring a Senior Civil Engineer in Nashua, NH, to lead land development projects as a project manager. In this role, you will provide project direction, engineering solutions, and client guidance while overseeing project management, civil infrastructure and site design analysis, and implementation. You’ll also work within project budgets, assist with training and mentoring, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project goals and client expectations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Civil Engineering, or equivalent, required
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License required
  • 7 years of experience minimum required, 8 preferred, in the building design consulting industry
  • Demonstrated leadership traits in the Project Management career path
  • Adept in the technical aspects of one’s discipline
  • Mastery of technical and analytical skills including proficiency in the Civil Engineering field
  • Ability to perform final quality control check in their area of expertise
  • Ability to sell work and develop client relationships
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to clearly communicate in both oral and written communication to individuals or groups
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Eagerness to adapt to new challenges
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to travel up to 20% with occasional overnight stays

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, oversee, and manage land development projects of varying size and complexity
  • Assist Project Executives and Client Executives with design scopes of work, fee calculations, proposal generation, and contract reviews
  • Create project schedules with clear milestones and deadlines
  • Serve as the point of contact for project teams and clients
  • Create monthly billings, submit financial information to Accounting in a timely manner, and update billing projections and estimated completion percentages
  • Ensure design work meets owner standards and requirements, IMEG standards, code requirements, and quality control expectations
  • Collaborate with design staff and coordinate project scheduling through all phases of design and construction
  • Schedule and lead progress meetings and provide meeting documentation
  • Conduct construction site visits, provide documentation as needed, and respond to client and construction concerns, including change orders and approvals
  • Mentor, train, motivate, and lead others while building, maintaining, and developing client relationships
