Senior Civil Engineer (Hydraulic)

Requirements
- Six years of civil engineering experience in the appropriate specialty and an Engineer-in-Training certificate issued by or acceptable to the Pennsylvania State Registration Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors and Geologists; or Five years of civil engineering experience in the appropriate specialty; and an Engineer-in-Training certificate issued by or acceptable to the Pennsylvania State Registration Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors and Geologists; and an associate’s degree in civil engineering technology or a closely related engineering discipline; or Two years of professional civil engineering experience in the appropriate specialty, and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.
- Possession of a valid Professional Engineer license issued by the Pennsylvania State Registration Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors and Geologists.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to perform essential job functions.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and complete complex environmental and mining permits for reclamation projects
- Carry out hydrologic and hydraulic calculations, watershed studies, stream layouts, and related engineering analyses
- Collaborate with project designers, construction staff, and public agencies to ensure designs meet requirements and safety needs
- Visit project sites to collect data, assess conditions, and determine environmental impacts
- Review, refine, and finalize engineering plans, estimates, and specifications for submission
- Guide consultant-led projects by assisting with bid documents, offering technical input, and monitoring permitting issues
