Join the Kaw Valley Engineering Team as a Civil Design Engineer/Project Manager. Kaw Valley Engineering, Inc. is seeking a talented Civil Design Engineer/Project Manager to join our dynamic team. If you’re a problem solver with a passion for civil engineering and an eye for detail, we want to hear from you. This role could segue into an Office Director role for the qualified candidate.

Requirements

BS in Engineering from an accredited program
Kansas P.E. license (ability to obtain license within 60 days)
Experience managing and navigating the completion of projects

Nice To Haves

Consulting experience is preferred.
Expertise in residential and commercial site development, and transportation is a strong plus.
Experience in municipal engineering policy and procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

Manage multiple projects and interact with production staff, clients, and review agencies.
Develop and QAQC Plans for site development and public improvement projects.
Coordinate and complete daily workflow on assigned projects, including project studies, reports, calculations, and other similar design-related assignments.
Be involved in Civil Design, Utility Coordination, Permit Acquisition, and Client Invoicing.
Collaborate with the KVE team, clients, and project stakeholders, including architects and engineers outside the firm.
Play an integral role in maintaining client satisfaction and developing our client base.
Serve as a mentor and provide guidance to less experienced staff.
