About The Position

NTT DATA is currently seeking a Senior Change Manager to join their team in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. This role involves leading change management activities for IT projects, supporting transformation initiatives, and ensuring successful implementation of solutions. The Senior Change Manager will analyze business needs, develop strategies, and provide practical tools and templates to enable organizational change. They will also be responsible for change impact analysis, stakeholder engagement, training coordination, and performance monitoring.

Requirements

  • Must have 10+ years of experience within the last 12 years working as a Change Management Consultant/ Change Manager.
  • Must have 5+ years of experience within the past 10 years managing change management activities for IT projects within an environment with at least three different types of user groups (e.g. departmental, non-government, individual citizens, other government departments, agencies).
  • Must have 5+ years of experience, in the last 10 years, working for a Federal or Provincial Government Department/Agency.
  • Must have 2+ years of experience conducting Organizational Change Management activities in support of an ITSM Tool implementation or upgrade project, working with BMC software/tools/ applications/solutions/products.
  • Must have 1+ years of experience utilizing GCdocs (the GC’s preferred Electronic Document and Records Management Solution).
  • Must hold a professional accreditation in Change Management (e.g. (Association of Change Management Professionals (ACMP) Certified Change Management Professional, Change Management Institute (CMI) Accredited Change Manager (Foundation or Master level)]; or has attended a Qualified Education Provider program in Change Management (as defined by ACMP) or a CMI endorsed course with a minimum of twenty hours of instruction (e.g. Prosci Change Management).
  • Must hold a Canadian Federal Clearance at the Secret level.

Responsibilities

  • Analysis and development of business "critical success factors", architecture requirements design, process development, process mapping, and training.
  • Lead functional staff to define business strategy and processes in support of transformation and change management activities.
  • Support projects in capturing impact of changes on clients and workforce.
  • Engage and enable the organization to implement solutions by providing practical and actionable’ tools and templates.
  • Participate in change impact analysis and change management activities.
  • Work with the target community to ensure alignment, correct skills and experience to enable the change.
  • Coordinate development of training and coordination with stakeholders.
  • Assist client in planning and implementing the change.
  • Develop evaluation frameworks and monitor and evaluate performance once change has been implemented.
  • Create presentations and presents to various stakeholders and facilitate meetings and discussions.
  • Conducting change readiness assessments and providing recommendations to clients for addressing pain points.
  • Developing communications products to further change management requirements and adapting those materials to diverse audiences.
  • Facilitating stakeholder discussions, identifying business processes improvements and successfully implementing the improvements.
  • Managing client expectations, providing consultative advice, guidance and coaching, and developing consensus.
  • Conducting performance monitoring of change management activities.
