About The Position

Starwood Hotels is seeking an exuberant Senior Catering Manager to join their team. This role is for a luxury events professional and natural salesperson who can bring events to life for guests. Responsibilities include developing creative ways to maximize profit, achieving set revenue goals, and supporting the financial, business, and marketing objectives for meetings, parties, and other gatherings at the hotel.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3-5 years of similar work experience in hospitality and food & beverage
• Expert in Catering & Events
• Strong leader
• Natural salesperson
• Proven track record in guest and team member engagement and financial performance
• Excels at communication, both verbal and written
• Flexible and willing to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays

Nice To Haves

• A post-secondary diploma or degree
