Role Summary The Senior Category Manager (IC) leads complex sourcing initiatives and enterprise-level category strategies across Enterprise Operations, including Facilities, Construction, Loss Prevention, Architecture & Engineering, Logistics/Transportation, Distribution Center Operations, and Supply Chain Innovation, and related operational services. Enterprise Procurement resides within Finance – Global Business Services and manages >$9B in annual indirect spend across Retail, PBM, Insurance, Specialty, Clinical, and Corporate.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional experience related to Sourcing & Category Management, Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Analytics, or Project Management.
Nice To Haves
- Advanced analytical skills.
- Strong negotiation capabilities.
- Experience with Ariba.
- Experience in Enterprise Operations categories.
- CPSM, CSCP, Lean/Six Sigma; MBA preferred.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain category strategies and sourcing pipeline.
- Lead complex RFx and negotiations.
- Conduct total-cost negotiations.
- Lead supplier performance routines.
- Serve as trusted advisor to operations leaders.
- Leverage Ariba sourcing/contracting tools.
