About The Position
A welcoming family in Sea Girt, NJ is seeking a compassionate and attentive overnight caregiver to support their elderly mother during the night. The primary goal is to provide a reassuring presence, assist with overnight needs, and help keep her safely resting in bed. This is a non-smoking household with no pets. The schedule is Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The family requires a non-smoking home environment and a clean household with no pets.
Requirements
- Proven experience with senior care and overnight caregiving
- Strong experience in redirection and mobility/transfer assistance
- Must pass a background check
- Proof of legal authorization to work in the United States
Responsibilities
- Provide dedicated overnight monitoring and night management
- Assist with redirection and keeping the care recipient comfortably in bed
- Provide light mobility and transfer assistance as needed
- Assist with medication management or administration
- Support with personal hygiene needs as required
