About The Position
Guardian Angel Senior Services is seeking compassionate and caring individuals to provide light housekeeping and personal care services to the elderly and disabled in the comfort of their own homes. This role involves assisting clients with daily activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being, and acting as a supportive companion. The position offers flexible scheduling based on client availability and caregiver availability. We are looking for individuals who can approach caregiving with empathy, patience, and a desire to give back to the community.
Requirements
- Compassionate, caring, and patient with clients
- Ability to understand and empathize with seniors' needs
- Willingness to provide light housekeeping and personal care services
Responsibilities
- Meal Prep, cooking
- Vacuuming, Dusting, Dry and Wet mopping
- Cleaning the kitchen, dishwashing, taking out trash
- Washing/wiping bathroom
- Changing bed linens, doing laundry, folding
- Personal Care and Hygiene: Bathing, Shower, Skin Care, Foot Care
- Feeding, Nutrition, Grooming, Dressing
- Transfer, Incontinent Care
- Assist with shopping errands
- Reporting on any unusual incidents
- Perform light housekeeping duties
- Be pleasant and supportive companion
- Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergencies
- Assist client with ambulation and mobility around the house
