About The Position
Guardian Angel Senior Services is seeking a committed, compassionate, and dependable caregiver to join their team and provide exceptional care and companionship to seniors in their homes. This full-time position requires assisting clients with daily living activities, light housekeeping, meal preparation, errands, and providing meaningful social interaction. The ideal candidate will help seniors maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life. This role is demanding but rewarding, with guaranteed hours for the right candidate. The caregiver must be willing to travel to surrounding towns and be flexible with assignments.
Requirements
- HHA or CNA certification required
- A genuine passion for helping seniors
- Dependable, responsible, and compassionate
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to surrounding towns
- Ability to work independently while following a client's care plan
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Nice To Haves
- Previous caregiving experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, respectful, and dependable care to seniors
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
- Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping
- Provide companionship and meaningful social interaction
- Assist with errands and appointments as needed
- Observe and report changes in a client's condition or needs
- Help seniors maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life
