About The Position

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable caregiver to provide companion-level care for a wonderful, healthy older adult living just outside of La Vernia. This position offers 12 hours per week, consisting of three 4-hour shifts on a consistent schedule, with the caregiver having input in establishing days and times that work well for everyone. This is an excellent opportunity for a caregiver who values building a meaningful, long-term relationship with a client and providing consistent, high-quality care in a positive home environment. Requirements

At least two years of caregiving experience is preferred.
Minimum 2 year experience working with seniors, currently enrolled in a nursing program, or completion of a CNA course
Valid driver’s license
Reliable transportation

Nice To Haves

CNA training (not required, but a plus!)

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care tailored to each client’s personalized plan, including activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance.
Offer homemaker services like meal preparation, light housekeeping, and medication reminders to ensure a safe and comfortable environment.
Engage with clients through conversation and activities that enhance their day and support their mental well-being.
Document care tasks and communicate effectively with both the client and our management team.
Companionship, light assistance with bathing, and helping support a safe, comfortable daily routine.
