About The Position

Griswold Home Care for Sumter & Kershaw is looking to hire capable, full-time OR part-time Certified Nursing Assistants / CNAs to provide companionship and perform caregiving duties in the greater Kershaw County area of SC. This includes communities such as Camden, Lugoff, Elgin, Kershaw, Wateree, Heath Springs and Great Falls. This CNA position earns a competitive wage up to $17/hr, depending on your level of experience and the needs level of particular clients. We also offer benefits including Paid Holidays, PTO (paid time off), overtime, weekly paydays, and opportunities for ongoing training and development.

Requirements

Active/Valid CNA Certification
Reliable Transportation
Pass Pre-Hire Screenings
Authorized to work in USA
High school diploma or equivalent
Punctual and dependable
Passion for providing elderly care
Respectful and kind

Nice To Haves

2+ years of CNA or home care experience
Driving Record & Proof of Insurance (for clients needing errands/transportation)
Time spent caring for a loved one counts as experience

Responsibilities

Provide companionship and perform caregiving duties.
Assist with daily tasks to allow clients to live as independently as possible.
Perform light housekeeping duties.
Prepare meals.
Grocery shopping.
Provide caregiving services to clients with cognitive impairments or dementia.
Assist with non-medical tasks such as feeding and bathing.
Maintain proper personal hygiene for clients.
Keep a log of duties performed during the shift.
Submit accurate documentation.
Check in with the office often, providing timely updates regarding the needs of clients.
