About The Position

OCES is growing and expanding to 11 more towns covering the south shore area. OCES supports older adults and individuals with disabilities by providing vital information and coordination of services. We are seeking a SCO Program Supervisor to review, evaluate, and approve work of assigned staff; participate in supervisory and programming team; assist with staff/ program development and staff training.

Requirements

  • Ability to plan and organize work independently
  • Ability to develop and promote collaboration
  • Working knowledge of community programs, providers, resources, and community health care programs
  • Bachelor's degree in social work or related field
  • Current Social Work preferred
  • Three years of experience in a social environment
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Responsibilities

  • Assign, review, evaluate and approve the work of assigned staff
  • Monitor the provision and effectiveness of community services
  • Provide training and support to GSSCs
  • Understand and adhere to OCES and funding source regulations, standards, and procedures; distribute and interpret this information to staff
  • Advise SCO Manager with other tasks upon request
  • Ensure that appropriate records are maintained for each SCO Member in accordance with the standards of the profession and generally accepted standards of care
  • Ensure that monthly Case Management/Assessment billing is complete and accurate in collaboration with the SOC Manager
  • Additional duties as requested
