About The Position

Amentum is seeking a Senior Capture Manager to serve as an integral member of the Engineering and Technology (E&T) growth team. This key position will help grow our business and make an impact in an exciting, growing market. The Senior Capture Manager will be part of a fast-paced and highly collaborative business development organization. The Senior Capture Manager will: Develop and execute capture plans and win strategies Gather, assess, and validate customer requirements Identify gaps and develop strategies to overcome weaknesses and mitigate risks Lead and negotiate teaming agreements and strategic alliances Assess probable competition and evaluate relative strengths and threats Lead stakeholder management and keep the leadership team informed and engaged, including timely escalation of issues needing resolution Support the customer relationship management strategy Identify requirements for capture team members and set their objectives Communicate status, resource needs, capture strategy, and recommendations to leadership Have personal accountability for quality of performance, deliverables, and end products

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 15 years of capture management experience (or an equivalent combination of education/experience).
  • Demonstrated/verifiable track record of proven success developing and executing capture strategies in pursuit of Enterprise IT opportunities within the DoW.
  • Demonstrated experience leading capture efforts in the areas of IT infrastructure, cloud, cyber, end user support, and software projects in support of Government stakeholders to include experience modernizing customer IT environments.
  • Experience leading teams with members from a variety of organizations and functional responsibilities, to develop and evolve win strategies
  • Possess deep knowledge of the Capture process and the discipline to pursue the process
  • Ability to gain internal support, operate independently with limited supervision and feedback, and establish a solid working relationship with technical staff, and peers
  • Extremely detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex concepts to stakeholders and decision-makers; strong briefing and writing skills
  • Outstanding organizational, planning, and time management skills
  • Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and creative problem-solving abilities
  • Must be able to meet the requirements to obtain a Secret US government security clearance, as necessary
