Requirements

  • Proven expertise in calibration and measurement management systems
  • Deep knowledge of measurement uncertainty analysis and advanced statistical methods
  • Experience with calibration interval optimization, OOT/OOC investigations, and risk-based decision making
  • Proficiency in developing and standardizing calibration procedures and SOPs
  • Strong collaboration experience with cross-functional technical teams
  • Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and ensure regulatory compliance

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with PAR, TMU, RSS Guard banding methodologies
  • Background in manufacturing or inspection equipment calibration (e.g., ultrasonic welders, vision systems)
  • Experience in developing training and qualification programs for technical personnel

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive gap assessments of calibration and measurement management systems; drive remediation to meet corporate quality and industry standards
  • Prepare, standardize, and implement calibration procedures, measurement uncertainty methodologies, and metrology-related SOPs
  • Establish robust processes for measurement uncertainty analysis, tolerance evaluation, guard banding, and fitness-for-use assessments using PAR, TMU, and RSS Guard banding techniques
  • Investigate out-of-tolerance (OOT) and out-of-control (OOC) conditions; perform product impact assessments, calibration interval optimization, and risk-based decision making
  • Evaluate and enhance calibration methodologies for a wide range of manufacturing and inspection equipment, including ultrasonic welders, vision systems, automated assembly cells, packaging equipment, and dimensional metrology systems
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Validation, Laboratory Operations, and Quality teams to implement sustainable metrology process improvements and ensure continued regulatory compliance
  • Develop competency-based training programs, establish qualification requirements for metrology staff, and support internal, customer, and regulatory audits
